Pteris arisanensisPerennial terrestrial fern native to subtropical regions across the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia (including Thailand and Vietnam)...
Typically grows between 1 to 1.5 meters tall, spreading roughly 60 cm wide.
We are selling them a bare roots with cut back leaves.
Thrives in shaded or partially shaded areas with bright, indirect light. Avoid direct midday sun, which can scorch the delicate fronds.
Keep the soil consistently moist but never waterlogged. Water at the base to avoid wetting the fronds, and ensure the top inch of soil doesn't dry out completely.
Use a well-draining, rich mix high in organic matter (such as peat and perlite) with a slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0–7.0).
Requires high humidity (ideally around 70%). Use a humidifier or a pebble tray to prevent frond tips from turning brown and crispy.
Maintain temperatures between 65°F and 75°F (18°C–24°C) and protect from harsh drafts.
Feed with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer (diluted to half-strength) every 4–6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).
