Polystichum polyblepharum

Commonly known as the Japanese Tassel Fern or Japanese Lace Fern, is a popular evergreen fern prized for its symmetrical, "shuttlecock" growth habit and lustrous foliage. 

 

We are selling them a bare roots with cut back leaves.

 

Growing Conditions

  • Light: Prefers partial to full shade; ideally suited for north or east-facing locations.
  • Soil: Thrives in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil. While it prefers consistent moisture, established plants can tolerate short periods of dry shade.
  • Care: Generally low-maintenance. Gardeners should remove old or damaged fronds in late winter or early spring to make way for new growth.
