Late spring flowering Iris with violet-purple large flowers. The beautiful leaves are fan shaped and broad, very flat and stays on till late summer. Normally the plants reaches a height of 1 to 1.5 feet and very vigorous and very adaptable to light conditions. In a couples of years time they form dense clumps. A very good plant for your rockery. Cold Hardy.

Plant them in pots or your garden. Garden compost with and equal part of horticultural sand mixed in equal parts is ideal.
