Very large deep purple green leaves, bulking up quite quickly. Height 1.5 – 2 metres.
The mature tubers produces plants that can grow from 3 to 6 feet tall. The huge foliage is almost heart shaped. Produces flowers with cream yellow spathe.
Colocasias are fairly easy to grow plants and very adaptable to all types of soil. Lots of watering required to get the foliage to grow bigger. The compost needs to be well drained if grown in colder climates. Also make good pot plants. Tolerates shade and sun.
