Commonly known as the FISH TAIL PALM, originates from the Himalayas. Dense clums, height between 10 -12 feet tall, short trunks. The leaf which looks like fish tail has silvery underside. Flowers from the base of the plants coming from the leaves (see picture). When the seeds are ripe they look like the tentacles of an octopus with hundreds of red seeds. Light to shade loving. Cold hardy but were recommend them under cover during sever winters.
Established 30 cm + plants in 1.5 liter polyp pots.
