Also know as Begonia Iron Cross. This is a Rhizomatic evergreen Begonia with attractive decorative leaves. The name Iron Cross is derived from the almost black pattern on the leaf surface resembling the Iron Cross insignia of the German decorative medallion.
Flowering size rhizomes offered.
The variety can be grown in sandy soil and leaf mulch in equal parts. Plant indoors in cold climates. Place 2-3 tubers in 10-15 cm pots, lots of water during growth. Makes very good house plants.
